UTM Convocation

On 23 September 2011, my family and I went to Johor Bharu for my sister's Master convocation in UTM Johor.. I brought along my kids to feel the ceremony. I am very proud with my sister after all the hard work she has gone through. Nothing is easy in life and hard work pays! Personally i always realize that the more we learn, the more humble we become...and the more addicted to learn new things.. As what research says, we only use 5% of our brain capacity...

I reached TAWAU 8 hours later... because of that, I have to stay overnight at Semporna alone... met Paul from Scuba Junkie and then he arranged my accommodation. Walking alone looking for dinner that night was not fun at all.......mmm... this was what i called survival!!

The next morning, i woke up very early, I went to the Jetty and took very nice photos....After had breakfast, i joined another team to Mabul..... it took us almost 1 hour to reach Mabul Island. The scenery was beautiful with crystal clear water...

Time runs very fast, after spending 5 days and 4 nights at Sabah, it was time to fly back to KL. Congratulation to myself for passing the PADI exam.... yahooo, I am a certified Diver now!! Mission 2011 accomplished!!

I missed the Air Asia Flight!!

Normally, when i am teaching overseas, i used MAS flight... I never never never in my life missed the flight!!..

Aiiihh... today, I missed the Air Asia flight! It was supposed at 7:15 am but unfortunately the counter was closed while i was queuing to check in my bag at 6:30am. What a day!! I didn't know that queuing will take a long time... and it is just like 'pasar malam'... crowded with people..!!

Because of this, I have to pay extra fees for changing the flight totaled up to RM390 from KLIA-TAWAU... So sad, but think positively... it is actually a good lesson for me!!.

For the rest, i suggest you must be at airport at least 1 1/2 before your flight schedule... and if the flight fare is a bit less expensive compared to MAS... please take MAS...!! Remember that ok?

Ok, repacking my bag now... so that i can run again to airport at noon for the next flight!!..

Unbelievable.... 2 months has passed in 2011... I still remembered the first day i sent Adam to school... Now, he can read, write and sings...

What have i done in these 2 months was amazing...

I went to Papua New Guinea teaching
Attended Affiliate Marketer Seminar
Updated myself with Unit Trust knowledge
Attended PHP & MySQL Programming Language
Created new blogs ...

And even... I did Bungy Jumping at @Sunway Lagoon... wow!!

In this coming week, I am going to Mabul & Sipadan Islands..... Scuba Diving!! I was a lousy swimmer trying hard to teach my kids swimming... and now i can swim and my kids can swim too... yoohoo!!.. I will experience scuba diving and then bring my kids to enjoy the Sea Nature soon...

Live after a year in 2011

It has been so long since my last update for this blog.. Nothing much has changed except that i have decided to actively involve in Internet Marketing again... and this time seriously involved.. :P..

I found out that we must love things that we do.. or else we will not achieve the success we want.. Every time i do something, this question will always come to mind.. How do I realize that I have a passion for something? Easy... if we are willing to do something without getting anything in return... that means we have the passion and love the job..

Year 2010... Is it better than last year?

It has been almost 3 months since i last updated this blog.. Things passed so fast.. School holidays ended and new year started.. New year means bigger responsibilities... anyway, as usual.. i will always make sure things get better and life more happier ..

As for the kids.. i brought them to Genting Highland, Bagan Lalang and Port Dickson. They really enjoyed the trip as much as I did. What is important to me is to share the happiness and joy with them... They are my most valuable asset in life..

Apart from the mom's duty, I made more friends in Ericsson. Start early January 2010, I am organizing an Internal Table Tennis Competition to select top 10 best player to represent Ericsson for Inter-MSCs companies in Cyberjaya..... Ericsson have many talented players.. I hope we will win this year..

With a positive mind and plan... I am sure that 2010 will be a better year.. Not only for my family but also work matters... Chai Yukk!!! Hehe.. "Too much watching Korean Movie already.." :-)

Adam's Tadika Sport Day

Last Saturday, I joined Adam for his School Sport Day. This is his first experience involve in School's Sport. As a mom, i can see that he prefer outdoor sport.. His eyes tells everything. By the time, he received his first medal, he really jumped showing his happiness.

Although it was just an easy game, but i am sure it meant very huge to him.
Good Adam, mama proud of you!!

As for the other sisters, they participated as well... Just to make the sport day more memorable and more fun!!

Does Maturity Come with Age?

In my opinion, it doesn’t go that way. What make a person more matured is more to how he/she acted to what is happening in his/her surroundings. It can be personal attitudes, personalities and responsibilities towards his/her life. Am I right?

I always see a person deep inside. Looking for what is hidden in their minds. Some people can be happy making other people sad. Some people appreciate success with money. The more money they have, the more successful they feel but ignoring and not appreciating about people around them. To be simplified is not responsible…. But I wonder how they can have that happiness…? Are they good pretenders?

Actually this topic just came into my mind… I am celebrating my birthday tomorrow. But I did not see the difference in me. When people asked me about my feeling.. I just said there is no different of adding another year of age. The feeling just the same like when I was a small kid… “I want life full of fun and happiness!!”…. but now added with great responsibilities…! Am I matured?

Huh!.. I am not sure about the answer. But I am sure that I am trying my best to be a good mother to my kids and appreciating people around me. I love to see other people happy with my existence, not only at home but also in office.. As for now, I really appreciate what I have. I appreciate my good friends from my secondary schools that are still in contact in facebook… Agnna, Yanti.. My UUM friends.. Especially Rubijesmin… and my current Ericsson friends… At this moment I have about 398 people connected friends in Facebook… I wonder who will be the 400^th person… Thank you Facebook for keeping my friends so closely to me..

But the most people I appreciate are my kids… Sarah, Farah and Adam. Thank you for making my life so meaningful. I am very happy with their existence. Thank you for adding cheers into my life. Love you all very much!!

9 pair of School Shoes..

Today is Sunday... i am at home.. just finished washing 9 pair of schools shoes... and now i am here... blogging... hahaha

So, talking about the school shoes, i was thinking that kids nowdays are very lucky... they have working parents who actually have some money to buy more shoes, clothes, books, bags and accessories for their school needs.. When i compared now with my time when i was a kid.. we have very limited shoes and clothes for school... and by that time we only given 60 cents a day for school... comparing to RM3 each of kids are getting each day... huh! inflation has gone up very high..

So, the question is.. are nowdays kids are luckier than our time?

Yes and No... it depends on the parents... Some parents can give luxury to their kids but they dont have time to spend together with kids... No time during weekdays (because always come back late at night).. and not even have time during weekends (because kononnya go to work and actually only wanted to be away from kids and enjoying his or her time with friends...).. so, i pity those kids who have such parents... money is not everything in life... love and the need of each other is more valuable than money... by leaving the kids with the maid... during weekday and weekend so you will know what is the outcome... hahah... scary result huh!

But if the working parents still have a balance life and time for work and kids... that is a good family environment.. I am trying my best to fall in this category.. People asked me to get a maid.. but based of experience, having a bit messy house is better than the feeling of unsecure when the maid is around... so... mothers... washing 9 pairs of school shoes every week is not bad huh!.. You will enjoy and this is only temporary... when the kids grown up, they will appreciate and respect you more...and they can even wash their shoes on their own... :-)

Got to go now, my 5 year old boy asked me to play ping pong la... bye.. :-)

Busy week of Pilot teaching preparation

Yes... a big relief this weekend. On last Friday, i have completed the pilot teaching for Ericsson's Media Gateway (Chapter 1 & 2)... I have good experience during the presentation and enjoyed the class as well.. No matter how hard it is... we must give a try... only then we know our capabilities..

Nothing is perfect in this world . As long as we have the attitude to learn, we will be on our way for success.. Am i right?

I have 3 kids and they love cartoon very much... u just name it.. During weekends, the whole 2 days will be spent in front of the tvs... as for me, i dont mind as long as they finish up their homework earlier...

Sometimes, i also get addicted... Watching Doraemon, Sin Chan, Detective Conan, Ben-10, SpongeBob SquarePants, Superman, Spiderman, Popeye The Sailorman, Inspector Gadget, Cats & Dog, Ninja Turtle and many cartoon in TV9 (Adik di9)... and i did actually bought the CD for the Upin&Ipin mini series.... and i enjoyed very much.. This is the first Malaysian 3D Cartoon and it is in Bahasa... As Malaysian, we should proud of our product...

This night is the 3rd night i can't sleep well.. Now, i am still thinking why and why.. Few things that came across my mind and can be considered as unfinished business..

... so much to do and so much time needed...

The first sleepless night ... actually i was worrying about the pilot class... thinking nothing much has done yet... 2 months back, In December 08, when i joined Ericsson.. i only spent my time learning online... not many instructors around and most of them and even my managers are busy with the long year end holidays and Christmas Celebrations... I can consider that i still enjoying my time lepak here and there... Only in Jan 09, my mentor Amin organized Knowledge Sharing for me on MGw... and from there I attached myself with more Knowledge Sharing sessions and attended APG40 class conducted by Khim... Now, it is beginning of Feb... and i am expected to do pilot within 3 weeks time...'Dont u think it is a bit scary?.........

The 2nd sleepless night, which was yesterday night.. i woke up 12 midnight.... and can't sleep until 4.00 am in the morning... That 4 hours is spent for reading IT books and lipat baju... and thinking about future..

And.. the 3rd sleepless night.. is now laa... Out of sudden, i woke up 2am... searching around for my Maxis 3G Broadband modem... only to find after spending 1 hour messing up my room for that small gadget... huh! at last... i found it.. I can't imagine myself without internet connection... Life is not complete without internet.. Although maintaining a 3G broadband is a luxury for me.. but it think is a must gadget to make me connected to the world... I learn so much new things after purchasing the 3G modem... If u realized, i only started blogging in Nov 14, 2007... that is when i started using 3G broadband modem... The normal dial up has so much limitation ... thinking of using streamyx but unfortunately since i am staying in kampung area which although near to klia.. the streamyx service is not here yet... Therefore.. i chose Maxis.. Indirectly.. i support Malaysian Telecommunication industry as maxis is one of the important customer of Ericsson... hahaha..

So... thinking back of my unfinished business... As for MGW pilot.. i had a plan for that.. so that worry reduced..This evening after work, i spent 1 Hour in dental clinic to pull out Farah's first time experience of 'Cabut Gigi"... Actually, i went to see the same dentist regarding her shaking teeth 2 weeks back... unfortunately, she was so scared to death and cried... then we cancelled it during our first visit... this morning she showed me 2 new teeth that has come out behind the shaking teeth...it was not nice to see.. ... "nanti gigi Farah jadi macam gigi hantu tau... banyak2 lapis.. tak cantikla.." i told her.. i successfully pujuk her and she request me to buy her SUGUS after cabut gigi... ok then.. i thought it was easy and settle.. but.. when we reached the dentist's room... she asked me to hug her tightly.. and she started to cry again when the doctor open her mouth.. i didnt care anymore.. by hook or by crook, the shaking teeth must gone by today.. she cried loudly..... after the doctor pulled out the teeth... she was still crying and crying... aiih... legaa.. 1 big job done!.. after about 10 min... she told me.."Tak sakit dah...sakit sikit je...."... i looked at her face and said.. "bagus la..., dah cantik dah.. takde gigi..."...

Well, sometimes i feel jealous to those singles.. nothing to worry and nothing much to care... no small children interruption in life... no need to wake up at night preparing milks... but after some times.. i feel that i am a very lucky woman... having 3 cute kids that colored my life beautifully.. I can't leave without having them around... These are the blogs that i created for my kids.. all good memories are kept there..

Now, since they are already big and beautiful.. i don't have to spent so much time cuddling them anymore.. they can play well among themselves.. and i can concentrate on my personal matters... yeah.. at last...........

Emm... what to do this weekend then... 3 days holiday to go ..? .. as for today, i will continue updating blogs... and ... at the same time still thinking of my future... Based of experience, there is always reasons why we actually located at new place or meeting new people....

On last Christmas and CNY holiday, we went to shopping malls.. "konon2 mau shopping... tapi jem betul....."... During CNY, we went to MidValley and enjoyed the Acrobatic performance from China... They are really great!!

Not only that, on last weekend.. we lepak at my brother's house in Shah Alam.. one of the nights, we went to see the "Konsert for Palestian" where Rabbani, Malaysia's well known Nasyid group sang very well.. Donated some money there... i know u guys did too right?

Well, lastly i wanted to add my kids first day School experience photos... i hope they enjoy their school in 'Kota Warisan'....

And... that's 4 now... i need to pray for my subuh then... ok, bye friends..

Well, managed to swim with Ruby's family members yesterday (Tuesday)... very happy to see Ruby there... and many thanks for the imported souvenir from Australia... My kids enjoyed so much.. i think we should organize more trip together in the near future..

Anyway, on last sunday, initially i wanted to go to my old friend's wedding, Amy... sorry huh! My makcik asked me to help preparing bertunang kenduri for my cousin, Anis. So, the whole day was spent in her house... Selamat menempuh alam perkahwinan Amy... kena sabar, bnyk dugaan dan bnyk pahala ma...

Emmm..... sape lagik nak kawin ni?... :-)

2nd month in Ericsson

Well, i enjoy working and studying in Ericsson. Besides of it's structured and well managed organization, the company also stress the importance of life balance (work and family)..

As i stated earlier, i work with Ericsson before in 2000 -2003 as Data Transcript under Ericsson Malaysia (ECM). The job purely doing data transcript which was coding the Ericsson Exchanges. After almost 3 years with the same job. Then i quit, as i wanted to explore myself in other area outside Ericsson.

After 5 years struggling outside Ericsson, i learnt a lot of things. I develop multiple skills in sales, marketing, key account management and facing higher stress compared to when i was with Ericsson. Life is not easy outside. I realized that so much need to be learnt and learning is compulsory to anybody who want to be success in life. Some people stop learning at the age of 25 after graduation but for me... i will still seeking for knowledge even if i am 80...huh!! Hopefully...

With all the experience, i feel that i am matured enough to face the cruel world. As a new instructor under Ericsson Expertise (ESM) now, i hope to learn much much more.... learning about the Telecommunication industry as well as sharping my personal development skills in multiple areas... such as presentation skills, sales, management, customer service and the most important thing is teaching skills..

Hari Raya Haji

Came back from Langkawi on Saturday mid night... everybody was very tired. On that Sunday, everybody was flat... we slept almost whole day huh! Luckily Monday was a holiday. My relative did 'Korban" for Hari Raya Haji.. Due to the continuos heavy rain since the night before.... , we manage to arrive at his house in the rain... but only to see the part and pieces of the cow's body...

Dah terlambat dah.. anyway, i took some photographs that will be uploaded into my fotopages soon including the vacation trip pictures in Langkawi...

Today, I am in the office... studying GSM... a lot more to go... and this evening we will have Sport and Social club gathering in Ericsson office here in Cyberjaya..

Tomorrow, it will a holiday for Selangorian... and it is the most important day for my brother, Yahaya. Tomorrow he will become the husband to Iema.. The Nikah ceremony will be held at Shah Alam mosque...

Langkawi Trip

My kids already in Langkawi and I am still here.... at home! huh!... Actually, i have booked Air Asia flight 6 months ago for Langkawi Trip from today (Wednesday) to this Saturday purposely to bring kids to filled up their school holiday activities. Because of unexpected change in my career, i have decided to stay and continue working until Friday and only fly to join the rest of my family members (7 of them) on Friday night... heheh..

Anyway, I value what Ericsson has planned for me for this week.. I already received my new HP 6910p notebook today and will be getting a new G900 Sony Ericsson’s soon. Ericsson really value their staff... it is our responsibilities to give the best for the company..

Huh! Only 2 months left in 2008. Masa berlalu sangat cepat... Tahun depan umur semakin meningkat.. anak-anak semakin membesar.. Adakah tahun 2009 akan lebih baik dari tahun ini? Well, about Mr. Brian Tracy. I just completed reading his book "The Art of Closing The Sale!". Every art can be learn.. The most important thing in life is your ambition! What u really want in life..? If you have target in life, you will put your energy and mind to achieve what u want.. At the same time, devote yourself to lifelong learning...

Everyone in this world is a salesman.. if not selling a product or services, we sell ourselves.. especially when fighting to get a job during an interview or before the year end bonus announced...we want to be better than the others.. am i right?
